Help Wanted: Berkeley Chamber’s Workforce Summit about finding and keeping employees
It is a problem that a lot of areas would like to have—too many jobs. But there are not enough qualified people to fill the positions, local officials report.
At the Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 Workforce Summit on March 14, business owners and human resource managers gathered in North Charleston to share ideas and get some comment on how to hire and keep the best people.
“That is the question of the day of course; and that is where is the workforce going to come from?” said Graydon McNair, an account executive with MAU Workforce Solutions, the company sponsoring the summit.
