The Charleston Regional Development Alliance (CRDA) has announced the launch of the Charleston Workforce Housing Fund, a $50 million initiative created with Ascent Housing and key local partners from finance, healthcare, and education. The Fund will preserve 1,000 multifamily apartments across Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties.
This Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing will remain affordable for at least 20 years for households earning between 30% and 100% of Area Median Income (AMI), supporting a wide range of working families and individuals across the tri-county region.
